Our preschool education is developed around 2 teaching concepts: the traditional and the Montessori teaching method. Whereas the traditional method revolves around a teacher-centered lesson, Montessori is based around student-centered lessons. Traditional teaching classes start from Toddler 1 to Kindergarten. The Montessori environment has 2 classes: Montessori 2 for ages 3 and 4 and Montessori 1 ages 4 and above. Both methods strive to develop social skills, adopt structure, introduce academics, and stimulate creativity in a loving and caring environment.

Institut Aurora developed a unique program based upon the specific needs of each student. It is developed around the core subjects English, Early Math, Science and Art. For each year objectives are set in each of these cores subjects. Daily activity blocks introduce multiple core subjects to reach not only the core objectives but also to develop motor skills, creative development, social skills and more.

All our preschool teachers are certified Jolly Phonics or Montessori teachers. Using a synthetic phonics approach, Jolly Phonics teaches children the five key skills for reading and writing and is the starting point of all activities to which other core subjects are linked.

Our preschool assessment is a continuous and daily process of gathering information about a child, reviewing the information, and then using the information to plan educational activities that are at a level the child can understand and is able to learn from.

Preschool is sometimes underrated by some people; however, knowing that brain development is highest during the first four years of life, preschool should be considered as perhaps the most important part of a child’s educational development.
